Upload Pic Folders as Gallery Titles

I'm new here and have looked through the forum haven't found an answer so sorry if this is a repeat question.

I have pictures separated on my pc in folders with dates as the name. 100+ of these folders. Is there a way to upload the pictures into SmugMug with the folder name automatically as the name of the category? Or will I have to create the new gallery (ex: 8-25-08) then upload that folders' pics to it, then repeat over and over?

There is an app (for a small fee) called star explorer.

It's well worth the small fee -- you can just drag the folder in the category, and star explorer will create the galleries and upload the photos.
