In the last three days, sometimes when I open a gallery (in smugmug style), the photos do not load, only the header, nav, etc. If I click reload on the browser, I get a page that says "Bad Request." Clicking reload a couple more times usually resolves it. It doesnt happen every time. Anyone else having this issue?

    Apple Bug :(

We're so sorry to hear about your viewing issues. If you recently
updated MacOSX 10.5.6 and use Safari, we have noticed that there may be
problems such as you're experiencing. For now, we suggest using Firefox
instead as a temporary workaround. It appears that Apple may have broken
something in their latest update as these errors are new and random for
    the people that updated.

    You can get Firefox here:
    http://getfirefox.com

It's not only happening on SmugMug, but also on other sites. It's an
Apple issue that you can see here:

Let us know if that helps for the time being. Thank you for your
understanding and we apologize again for the temporary inconvenience.

I did start happening after I upgraded to 10.5.6, but I didn't think about that as being the cause. Hopefully will get resolved, thanks for the response.

Not to rehash this unnecessarily, but I notice now that it is not only photo loading that is affected. For example, if I click on "galleries" or some other nav item, about half the time I get a "bad request." I understand this is an apple issue with the leopard upgrade, but is there any end in sight or will this continue forever? My google analytics tells me that a good number of my viewers use Safari and I don't want them to be put off because nothing loads correctly.
    Thanks.

I'm having this problem too. I thought maybe it was something I was doing as i'm trying to figure out to put together my site. I've been going back and forth between Firefox and Safari. I hope this gets sorted soon.

Is this bug always associated with sessions? I noticed SM keeps a session going even when not logged in, so is this bug associated with safari losing the session info while browsing?

Well, I obviously spoke too soon. It worked great for about a day or so, and now beta 4 is worse than its predecessor- I rarely get the error message, but about half the time only half of the images in a gallery or html load, and those that do frequently have that blue square with the question mark in it. I think I'm just gonna give up using safari with my smug site. firefox and flock work just fine.

Yes, I heard different reports, too. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it won't be too long anymore before they finally fix this issue.

(still using 10.5.5. for that very reason)

Really the biggest problem I'm having with Safari is the blue box with a question mark in the middle, mostly on my banners, but sometimes in the gallery photos as well. Doesn't happen with any other browsers, and I haven't changed any code.
