Another Watermark Question

I understand the process of creating a watermark, but would like to know the background size that is recommended.

In other words, if my original is 3338 pixels X 2592 pixels, is it best to start with a palette that size and let SmugMug scale the watermark in the galleries?

Thanks for the help.

I did the latter (make it big enough to fit the uncropped photos in photoshop) and then didn't worry about it. thumb.gif

Thanks Mike. I appreciate your input.

(I would still like to know how you did your footer like that.)

My footer? The one on my SmugMug site? Just a smidge of CSS is all. Start a new thread and we can talk about it. thumb.gif
