I didn't think I'd ever sell this lens, and I know I'll regret it due to its size, but I've been doing a lot of concert photography lately and upgraded to the 70-200 2.8 IS so I'm going to let this one go. It has about 3 years left on a 7 year Mack extended warranty. It comes with hood, caps, Mack Warranty paperwork, original receipt, and warranty card.
It is in excellent shape and has served me well, and to be honest I'm indifferent about selling it. The only issue is a small piece of dust on the inside of the rear element, which can be seen in one of the photos in the 10:00 position (which doesn't affect images). $900 shipped an paypaled within the US. If you're in the Boston area and pay cash, I'll lower the price accordingly.
The yellow mark is a reflection from a light - the speck of dust is at 10:00, but doesn't show in photos.
