Neat shot! I think I'd prefer either all of the hair (so it's not cut off at the bottom) or perhaps a closer crop focusing on the detail, but I think this has loads of potential

I think that you are on to something, I do agree that a closer crop would look nice, even going to a macro lens to get really close to the braids.

Me too. I think a more detailed shot would be better suited for the braids. Great idea though.

If by cropping you mean improving the composition, I can play with it,
