A Study In Rust

This is a branding iron that I looked at for a long time, trying to figure out how to shoot it.....

    Is that Bar B? Nice shot, though a little dark for my taste.

    Remind me to dig up a shot of a single-strand fence of iron chain shot near the Golden Gate Bridge for more studies on "rust".

    Nice "study" there, by the way!

    I like the composition and color of this shot, I also like the slightly darker look.

    Rust is a great subject for photography, the colours and textures it can create are amazing ... intesting shot Azzaro thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

    Subject and colors are great. Really like the orientation. Makes me want to look for the eyeballs :-)

    Did you say that was Barbie? I was looking for Kilroy.:D

    I love the color and texture and it's not too dark on my monitor. Nice comp.

    Thank you Lisa for the nice comment......... Lets go with Kilroy, that goes back to WW II. He is as old as I am and would need glasses that thick:D
