Earlier, in the infancy stages of my SmugMug life (about a week ago), I stumbled into an area where I found that photos could be transferred from one gallery to another. I used that option for a couple photos. Now, I am in need of transferring some photos from one gallery into another gallery that I created specifically for shots such as the ones I need to transfer. But I can't find the area to do this in. I have looked and looked and clicked and looked, I just can't find it. Any help would truly be appreciated.
Also, I was wondering if I could put one main gallery on my home page, with three or four galleries in it that can be viewed. For example, I have about five sports galleries. I would like to have one gallery named sports, and when clicked on, the sports galleries I have that contain photos would pop up for viewing. Can that be done?

I am in need of transferring some photos from one gallery into another gallery that I created specifically for shots such as the ones I need to transfer. But I can't find the area to do this in.

Open your gallery, above the photo will be the "tools". Drop down list from tools provides a series of options:
'Move to Gallery' 'Move to Multiple Galleries' would be the ones you want for this. If you want to keep a copy in the original gallery, and place a second copy of the photo elsewhere, use 'Make a Copy' first, then Move.
For example, I have about five sports galleries. I would like to have one gallery named sports, and when clicked on, the sports galleries I have that contain photos would pop up for viewing. Can that be done?

Yes, by using categories and sub categories (found in the customize gallery menu) to organize your galleries. For example, my sports galleries:
At the 'Portfolio' level you see this:
    http://canadian-ann.smugmug.com/galleries

At the Category level you see this:
    http://canadian-ann.smugmug.com/Sports

At the Sub Category level you see this:
    http://canadian-ann.smugmug.com/Sports/212573

and then you can see the individual galleries.

Thanks Ann, I appreciate your help. I can't believe that the area to move photos was right under my nose. And although I'm sure your directions on creating the main folder and sub folders is right on, I just can't seem to get it right. Thanks again.

    Hi Mark,

Your homepage is set to display all galleries instead of categories. YOu can change that by having a look at the top right part of the galleries box on your homepage. You should see:
    Display: categories · galleries

Click on categories. Here's a screenshot of that option.
