Stockholm and St. Petersburg?

I'm looking at visiting both these places this summer, and I'm wondering if folks have recommendations on things not to miss. Or, better yet, if you're a fellow photographer in the area willing to hang and shoot for a couple days. :D

    There's nothing about St. Petersburg that cannot be wonderful to a photographer.

    LOVE the place and it's been 10+ years since I've been there. I think the Hermitage is a given visit :)
