    These kind of photo make me want to mod my own D70! But unfortunely it's the only camera that is able to sync with flash above 1/500...

    Maybe I just should buy another one ;). Where did you mod it btw?

    I have a modded camera, and a general idea about the processing of this stuff too. I think a different filter might be a worth a try (I have a clear glass mod, I can swap ir-filters). I'm using an R72, which tends to give pale colours.

    Could be the location thing too though :D

    I had my D70S modded at LifePixel with the standard IR Filter.

    I think there are settings that allow you to bump up the flash, I know on my D200 you can take it up pretty high.

    Howdy Pyry,

    I am shooting a modded one with the R72 equiv. filter, so when you say pale, does that mean straight out of the camera or after post processing?

    You should be able to get some really neat images, post some I'd like to see them.
