What to buy?

hi everyone
I'm a few weeks I'm going to have about $3400 to play around with and I was wondering what some of you would suggest I buy. I'm not looking to spend it all on one thing so fast telephoto primes are out of the picture :(

Here's what I already have;
-Nikon D80
-Sigma 50mm 1.2
-kit 18-55

Here's what I was planning on;
-Tamrac CyberPack 6 bookbag
-Sigma 150-500mm OS ("bigmos")
-d-80 baterry grip

And should I go wide angle or macro next?

    That's quite the "economic stimulus" you have to spend. thumb.gif

    The upgrade looks fine. As for wide angle versus macro that depends on what you have planned to shoot. I suggest you may have funds for both if you shop carefully and consider third-party lenses.

    I use my wide-zoom way more than I would a macro but that's because I tend to shoot more vista landscapes and interior stuff than I do macro or using a longer macro as a portrait lens.

    It really depends on what you like shooting. There is no wrong list to own. Looking over your current list and wish list, it looks like you may want to consider something like a 70-300mm.
    Again this depends on what you want to shoot.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I actually love to shoot every style, I haven't found one that Im so good at that I forget about the others. I used to do the backwards lens trick for macros all the time, but never had a way to get nice wides other than the 18 on the kit lens.
    I'm actually going to be buying the D700 when my tax return comes in, so this small pot is going to be for supplemental things and glass.
    I live in a canon house and my mother shoots with the 1DsMIII and Too many L's, her favorite being a tilt shit, I was the Rebel (no pun) and went nikon. She's also a Hewlett packard exec and I went Apple, Laughing.gif.
    Would I find a quality wide angle and micro as nikon calls them and still be within the budget?
