#17 "hair paintings"

It has been awhile since I have done a challenge, and since right now I have a brief break it seemed like the time to jump back in. Any thoughts would be great:

    Prefer the last one with more elements in focus.

    I think I like the last one the best too. I think there is too much out of focus on the right hand side though, maybe crop a little off the right?...

    After thinking about these photos for a while, and the title I gave them, I thought why not go more towards the painting than the direct representation of the photograph. So this is my first try on that, again thoughts are greatly appreciated especially with this right now

    thumb.gif These last two versions are very cool, especially the orange/sepia-tinted one. The latter is the one I'd go with. The color treatment makes them look like art. The first versions you posted left me wondering where that hair came from. rolleyes1.gif

    Also I am thinking on the blue one to tone down the blue a little, I am debating between that almost neon color and something softer like this:
