How are people finding my pictures so fast?

This is not a problem, I am just curious how people find my posted images so fast. I find that within minutes of loading images to my web site, I start getting "hits" or views of the images. Is there a way that people are notified that new images have been posted to my web site? Don't get me wrong. I love the traffic. Just don't understand how someone finds out so quickly that things are posted.

I saw that you are using SmugMug to host your site, so a couple of things come to mind. You may have fans who have subscribed to an RSS feed and get notified when something new appears. When you update a gallery, a thumb appears in SmugMug's Browse section, so that can also be a source of traffic. Or maybe you're just more popular than you think. thumb.gif
