    Tim,

    With d700, I would love to see you shoot, using natural light.
    I think your photos would look much more natural. We shoot wrestling quite often. Only natural light.

    D3, iso 4000, 1/500-1/640, 70-200vr, f2.8

    the photos look good.

    My partners and I are shooting for newspaper, web, magazine.

    Try natural light, you may really like it.

    To shoot natural in that gym I'd have to be ISO 6400, 1/125 and F/2. Since I've gotten teh D700 I shoot as much as possible with natural light, I just don't like the noise at ISO 25,600! This place was built in 1926, and has about 1/2 the light (even bad ones) as a normal bad gym... I got the D700 hoping that I would not have to use strobes as much, and I don't, but I do have to use them here....
