I think they turned out okay. D90 and the 85mm 1.4. I was at iso 800-1600 the whole time and fstops from 3-10 or so. Shutter speeds ranged from 1/60 to 1/200. Sb600 with the fong light sphere. Thank goodness the ceilings weren't that high!

Check out your Displays control panel (color tab) and do the calibration right there. It may not be as perfect as hardware (which costs, where this is free), but it should get you to the right ballpark. (Any comments out there?)
Of course, in the process of making sure I had the right references, I found I'd been using the wrong calibration file... So, thank you for "making" me look!

If we don't know what could be improved or could have been done differently, we'll never know how to get better at what we're doing.
Re: the boss/GF pic: looks like you cropped to get rid of something behind/in-front of them? it might be nice to get rid of some of the top too to get the ratio back in order. Would have been perfect if you could have had the shot without the distracting lights in the background right behind and above their heads, too, but you get what you can when you're at an event like this.
(I just have to remind myself these are event shots and not posed ones, or I'll start throwing comments in there you probably already know! I don't show my event shots for pretty much this reason: I see the results and start hacking them to pieces!)
So keep enjoying the post-holiday's holiday parties; if your company is still throwing them, take it for what it's worth!

I like the crop of the CEO&GF, and I like the lights in the BG - it's a nice environmental effect and has late 19C associations for me (Toulouse-Lautrec).
the man (not totally) in black has a white spot an inch from his lapel L (!)
if you want a superb noise fix for portrait shots I am blown over by Dfine by Nik Software.
DxO's latest has an engine for high ISO noise, but I haven't tried it yet.
