Our snow removal has reached interesting "depths"...or is it heights?

This is my father running our county snowblower, I couldn't resist ditching work to take some pics.

This machine is WAY wicked.

Something you'll never see in the town where I live,
cause it never snows here.... ohhhh but I do wish it would just so I can build a snowman :D

From the looks of the first image, the machine appears to be capable of moving a huge a mount of snow very quickly.

As pretty as that snow looks, I would be terrified to drive on that road.

Thanks for sharing your images, I moved them so they were underneath each other to make it easier to view them. thumb.gif .... Skippy :D

Well, having grown up in the relatively balmy fifty-below-zero winters of south-eastern--and central--Wisconsin, we had little need for such big boys' toys.

And if you believe that, I have some Atlantic beachfront property in New Mexico that I'll sell ya...real cheap!!!

Ya know, Skip, ya just have to experience an Arctic (or in your case, Ant-arctic) winter just once.

    The WHOLE winter, though!

To appreciate what some of us had to go through.

How are those wallabies of yours doing in your warm winters (summer there right now, though), pretty good?

Not sure if this is appropriate or allowed here, but I did a video of it too.
