I have wanted to get a pic like this for years! this is only my 3rd time out shooting birds. Never had the glass before.
Yesterday, My son and I went to a local lake here in Tacoma to shoot ducks and I saw him.
I heard someone say, he's flying, after I saw them sitting in a near by tree, so I looked up at the ready and they broke out of the trees chasing each other.
Only got off a quick 3 shot burst before they were back in the trees.

Here's 2 I was really pleased with.

C&C Welcome

Thanks for looking.

You nailed it. #2 looks kinda weird being upside down.

15524779-Ti.gif At first I thought it was flying inverted then checked the wingtips and figured the photo is inverted. So which is it, eagle or photo inversion?ne_nau.gif

Great shots. Based on the first shot, looks like the eagle was in the middle of a roll or changing it's direction by banking hard.

    Thanks,
It's all eagle. shot, my best guess is at around 60-70 degrees up.
    No photo trickery.
