Obama Inauguration
Hi everyone,
As a follow-up to my post from election night in Grant Park, I thought I'd post some photos from the gallery I put up this AM. 5 couples (with 6 kids) did the drive to witness history. I was the designated shooter (ok, I'm overplaying my role)
In any case, enjoy these and the gallery. I was very humbled by 30,000 hits in <14 hours! Now I know why dot-coms didn't work. Hits don't equal money! hahaha

I like the black and white conversions.
The shot with the boy and the shoe, even though I don't understand it, and the woman covering her face are the shots that grab me.
It must have been really exciting for you.
Good work.

Which one are you?

I'm guessing that the boy with the shoe was perhaps taken when Bush was leaving on the helicopter??? It has got to be something directed at Bush, in reference to when Bush had a shoe thrown at him by the reporter.
Nice set by the way...I really wish I could have been there.

Thanks - I explain the shoe in the gallery. It was when the screen showed GW Bush... It was a jab at the "insult" he received when a reporter threw his shoe at him in Iraq.
It was a great day to be in DC, that's for sure.
