Wow, talk about putting all your eggs in one (humongous) bucket.mwink.gif

I can imagine this will be useful for video applications.

    Good find. thumb.gif

Sadly if I had this card it would have more 5 times more storage than my computer and external HD combined. I'd have to do some serious upgrading to my storage before I could even think about uploading a full card...ne_nau.gif It would be handy if you were traveling for a YEAR without somewhere to upload pics though...

That's just nuts! I can't imagine shooting for that long without changing out my card. I think I'd get a ways in to the card and then really want to change it out just for fear of things messing up. But the idea of shooting a whole day without worrying about needing to change out my card is pretty awesome. :ivar

Sounds really good for video and music production......scary for photos....I just had to recover of an 8 gb card due to batttery door popping open and causing corruption.....now if that had happened with a 2tb card I may have had a hart attak:D ..... it just takes so long to run recovery program for 8gb (about 4 hours) that I could not imagine doing it for 2tbeek7.gif

Just imagine, you wouldn't take your laptop to unload your card, you'd take your card to unload your laptop.

Fortunately they're upping the speed limit to 300MB/s, otherwise your laptop might run out of batteries before it was done the transfer.

Of course, once we're all shooting 80 megapixel cameras with 22 bit RAW files we'll be glad they made space in the specs for us...
