I live in NC. We got almost 7" in my area. It has been about 10 years since we have seen this much snow fall so I had to make the best of it. Feedback appreciated.

The first two look like postcards! Very pretty! Are they a little soft though?

I like the first one and would like the second one more (I think) if the cat tails were more in focus.

I do love the cattails, as the water is such a nice deep color and the subject really fills the frame. thumb.gif

    Thanks for the feedback.

#2 was a shallow depth of field and was intentional. Soft? No. It is a matter of taste, some love it some hate it.

#1 is my favorite of the day.

Excellent post processing. Doing post processing for snow is always tough.

We had one of those "once every ten year" snowfalls this year to in Seattle, not great for the commute, but does help out the photos :D

My favorite is the first. It *might* look better if a small chunk off the bottom and a smaller chunk off the right were cropped out. I think there might be just a little too much snow in the foreground detracting a little from the main subject(s). Or maybe not... easy enough to find out :D
