Forgive me if this is a corny observation.........
But......when I was looking at various photo hosting sites years ago, I learned about Smugmug from another photographer who was using it for his autocross pics. When I was checking out the site, there was list of "satisfied customers" using Smugmug, and one of them happened to be the office Senator Barack Obama. This also happened to be shortly after the speech Obama gave at the 2004 Democratic Convention. I figured if a notable US Senator's office was using Smugmug, it had to be a legitimate service, that wasn't likely to disappear into the ether, like so many others.
I'm just curious if anyone else remembers Obama being a customer of Smugmug? :scratch
