a different set of snowflake macros

I have been working on snowflake macros this winter and I'm pleased with
my latest batch. Here are a few:
setup was Pentax 50mm/f1.7 mounted via macro bellows to Pentax K100DS
which gives about 3:1 magnification
Snowflakes were on an inverted glass jar over a sheet of black paper
natural light for 3 sec at f11
I have a covered porch so I set up there and catch falling snowflakes on
a sheet of black paper, then transfer them to the jar with a small artist's
paint brush.
By the way, Cindy is right, this is addictive!

Thanks!
I would like to see them a little sharper, too. I think I am running up against the limits of using this particular lens for macro. It was designed to be a general use "normal" prime and I've got it racked out 160mm on a bellows. I think the field of focus is not flat when used this way. One of these days I will get a real macro lens and try that.
