I set out early last Saturday morning hoping the weather would break so I could capture Dunstanburgh Castle as the sun rose....no such luck. But the sea and sky still managed to deliver some interest for me, so I hung around to capture the changing moods. These shots were all taken in the space of about 3 hours.

This is the Golf Course which overlooks the coast - what a great place to play eh?

This was a shot of a small stream meandering down to the sea over the sand

    Hi John,

Gorgeous! It doesn't look like what I think of "winter" over here as it is now, so such pretty scenes make me feel extra happy.

I love the fourth one, with a perfectly dramatic sky. thumb.gif

Nice series! I can never get over how quickly the UK weather can change.

    Thanks for kind comments.

UK Weather -ne_nau.gif as the old joke goes - if you don't like it wait a couple of hours and it will change for you.

We don't seem to get as much snow as Charles Dickens did in his day :D but I can confirm it was cold!!

    Cheers

    John
