Newcastle Upon Tyne.
1867
It was intended to protect Melbourne from a Russian invasion around 1900. They never came as it turned out!

    I know there are some down at Queenscliff as they thought the attacks would come from the open sea...... the Fort is still there.

    Um if you go down to the end of The Strand in Williamstown you cant miss them. There are two! Just don't shoot either of them at any of the boats!!!

    Its funny that I reckon The Rip would have killed most of them long before the cannons needed to!

    Crop
    The first one is pretty cool. I would crop tighter to remove the distracting background (whatever that is on the horizon).

    I purposely didn't crop the background out to show it agunther. People have asked to see where it sits..........and they wont be able to see much if I crop it out. FYI agunther, the 'whatever it is' on the hoizon are yacht masts and a tree.
