I shot these at Brackenridge Park yesterday. It was nearing dusk and the lake was shaded by cypress trees, so I had to really bump up the ISO and speed to get anything remotely good out of these constantly moving ducks. Thus, there is quite a bit of noise. Still, I was pretty pleased.

The BBWD is nice. I also like the detail and color you captured in the second one. I actually had never realized there was so much blue in the mallard drake's wings. Good job handling the exposure with all that white plumage with those domestic ducks.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks, everyone! After looking through tons of older pics today (delete, delete, delete), I looked back at these birds and decided they are pretty nice shots after all.

    Thanks!
