How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Well, that was fun!

And I know you have the most beautiful!

    g

Did you see my Post Partum Blue that I posted last night. Nothing would match your darling, there.

And my blue, blue, it might be kind of typical of a MOM.........but I really caught the bird without the usual good looks, combed hair and makeup.

But the bird you have, it looks like it fared worse. Is it a woodstork?

Henry is cute, chick is ugly as sin, IMO.

Now here is a bird, not in a normal state. This is the state look of a new mother of any species, and I would like to enter it. Probably could also find a human example.

I submit that this bird is a contender as I KNOW this bird, and before the chicks were born he/she was a gorgeous creature ready for Hollywood and beyond. It is now anorexic and ill kept.

Also, adults, I think should be judged differently from chicks. Harry, I don't think I could find an uglier chick. Is the eye supposed to be like that?

Excuse me, gotta steal the thread a minute
Harry, I have a couple of night heron photos for you. Just night herons, not special, but one is nice enough for a bird book.
I have been saving these for two days. Want to make sure you are here to see.

My gift from the Carolinas. I would think you would have some. No nesting or chicks that I have seen, not from this one.

they are sensitive, secretive, little things.

Well post those shots!!!!!! I was thrilled this morning because I saw a night heron in the welands for the first time. He was really backlit so I don't think that any of my shots will be worth a darn.
