New Venue... Competitive Cheer
On my way out after swimming & diving practice noticed the gym was full of cheerleaders gathered for the SMAC (Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference) East Division Championships...so, never seen this before much less never photographed it, I took a few. It took a while to figure out what the heck they were doing.

It WAS hard to get the shots because, not knowing the specific routines, I couldn't tell what was coming next and didn't know if they were going to do back walkovers, cartwheels or jump splits.
I'm thinking of recruiting some of these girls for my diving team next fall.:D

I look forward to your shots. I have found that my 70-200 @f2.8, without flash, required at least 1600+ ISO in this gym. I am currently using my 50 1.8 @ 2.2 and my 85 1.4 @ 2.2, @ ISO 1250 for my indoor shots.
Good luck with the new lens.:D

John
