So I get what it is (tilt-shift, that is), just not how you got to the stage you're at.
For example; I'm having difficulty even telling if the people are real! (are they models as in model trains? I hope that gets my idea across, at least.)

I've thought for years about getting a PC lens, but in the end decided that I could spend the $$ on something else more effectively. Maybe I was wrong?

For example: was this just a vertical tilt? Or a vert + some horiz tilt? Or PP?
I'm struggling!ne_nau.gif Help me out! Thanks!!

Can the effect still be done in a high aperture such as 5.8?? - if the photograph is taken looking down at an object(s)....

Tilt shift photography is very interesting. There is a way to do this in photoshop, but the pictures don't have the same impact. Lensbaby, from what I hear, has a decent TS lense.
