What protocol does it use to upload (via LR)

I have a Dual WAN router (and Dual ISP connections). The Dual Router allows me to assign a specific protocol to use a specific connection. One of my two connections is a higher uplink speed, which I intend to use for uploading photos to Smugmug. I use LR and via the plugin, upload to Smugmug. So my question is, what protocol is it using when LR uploads to smugmug? Does it use FTP?

According to the upload API doc, I think all uploads are via HTTP. There have been many requests for FTP, but Smugmug doesn't seem to have it as a way to upload.

Thanks for the quick reply! And of course the reply came from you! =) Thanks... love your plugins.

Too bad it's not FTP. I guess I wont be able to specifically direct the upload traffic to one connection then... http would mean all other traffic would get diverted and thus makes things congested again.

Can you direct the traffic by destination? Uploads generally go to either api.smugmug.com or upload.smugmug.com.

FYI, I'm not the plug-in author (that's jfriedl).

I need to check whether that is possible...

Oh my mistake! Thank you anyway! =)
