Here's another shot I took a few weeks ago, this one is by the Lake,
near the Football Ground.

Hmmmmm probably should have cropped the tree off the boarder on the right hand side.

Taken with a Canon 40D IR Modified by maxmax.com in USA :D ... Skippy

What continues to fascinate me about IR images is how an otherwise boring scene can be made into something interesting and compelling. You can't just set asside the basics of composure and all that. I have seen some pretty bland IR shots where the shooters thought that just because the trees were gonna be white that it would be a cool shot. It doesn't work that way. Sometimes a boring shot is not made compelling because it's shot in IR. But there is something about an IR image that is different than a normal one.

This is one of those examples. I suspect that a normal capture of this scene would be incredibly boring. But the IR version compells a second look. Good work, Skippy! thumb.gif

    Interesting
Wow... it really brought out the tree in the middle. It looks to be the most dominant point of the entire photo.

Pretty nice skippy. thumb.gif Leaving in or taking out the tree to the right is a
tough call. Personally I would leave it in as you would loose some of the
lakes presence which I think needs to be represented as much as it can.
Must have been a reason tree to right was not put in frame more in the
    first place. :D Michael

Nice IR trees, Skippy. I think Jeff said it all!
