Actually how close were you to the spiders? I would LOVE to get photos like this, they are gorgeous, but spiders absolutely FREAK ME OUT! but I'm obsessed with photographing them.
Anyways, great photos, just a bit creepy.

Candid Arts - Using the 60mm plus the extension tubes I am about 70mm from the subject.
Yeah no way I could do that. That'd just freak me out. Any movement of the spider would send me flying back and heart racing.
