Snapped in semi-darkness (40D, 24-70L, on-camera flash: f2.8, ISO 800, hand-held 1/30 sec) and brought back from the precipice of drastic under exposure, because I thought it captured something. Do you think?

It almost looks like the boy is a street vendor. I'd say you captured the global economy crisis where even the children have to work. But they are happy because they are helping out. If he would have been sad. It would make a more powerful image. You should have pinched him. ;-) LoL.

Nice to read your comment, Frank. Thanks!

Singa is in fact a 4yo girl, though you wouldn't know with that homemade haircut! (Though notice the nail polish on the thumb :)) She's a sweety! She is the youngest of four, two brothers and a sister. She is just about to start English classes and will soon be going to school. She already has her uniform, as you can see.
