HTML Signature Coding

Ok...I've tried the coding that I know and can't figure out how to do it. I'm trying to do some editing on my signature.
I'd like the "L" on my L glass and "E" on my Elan II "E" to be red.
I'd like the typeface to be Palatino.
I'd like the size a little smaller, don't know exactly what size as I'm not sure how they do it, if it's the 1, 2, 3 system, or the normal 12, 14, 16 system. Either way, I'd like it to be smaller than it is.
I'd like the link to my website to say "My Site" instead of the actual link.
I'd like a link to my most popular photos to read, "My Most Popular Photos" with the attached link of (http://candidartsphotography.smugmug.com/popular/3/352672962_qH9SD#P-5-20)
I'd like the two links to sit next to each other with a vertical line separating them.
I think that's about it for now, but I'm sure there will be more to come.
Thanks for anyone that can help. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I've tried <Font Face="Palatino">text text text</font> for the font, I've tried <A HREF="http://www.mywebsite.com/">My Site</A> for the link. I don't even know how to do the red L and E if the other stuff isn't working. None of it has worked. It all just shows up as html code in my signature.

How do you do the vertical lines to separate the links? Any idea?

Just type the "pipe" character. On my keyboard it is on the same key as the \. So [SHIFT] + \ should give you |
Awesome. I think I got it all done. Thank you so much!

All that stuff belongs in your gear section of your profile, not cluttering up every post....
