Help needed using "Crop Thumbnails"

Hi,

I'm sure this is just a case of user error, but I'll swallow my pride and ask for some help.

I have a gallery that uses square thumbnails. One of the thumbnail images though has someone's head cut off and I'd like to adjust that.

This is the process I'm trying at the moment:

1. I select the photo in the gallery
2. From Tools -> This Photo -> More, I select "Crop Thumbnail"
3. Choose the 1 x 1 ratio and move the square to the desired part of the image
4. Click "Save Changes"
5. Wait a few seconds and then it should all be ok ...

But, for some reason, I just cannot get the changes saved.

What makes it really strange to me is that following these same steps works fine for other photos ... just not this one where the head is partially cut off (in a photographic sense, otherwise that would just be too gory!).

So, does anyone have suggestions as to why one particular photo might not allow me to change the default thumbnail image?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

    Hi Andy,

Ok, I'm not exactly sure which link to provide. Not because of the way you asked, I'm just not sure which link would be most helpful ... so here are a few.

Here's the link to the thumbnail version:

Here's the link to the particular gallery with that photo:

    It's photo #21.

Hope that's what you need. If not, let me know and I'll add more info.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi Scott,

I'm not sure what was up with that image. I uploaded it again to my site and the cropping worked just fine. I've re-uploaded it to your gallery and was able to crop it.

I removed the original that couldn't be cropped.

    Cheers,
    Sebastian

    Awesome! Thanks Sebastian.

I should have thought to try deleting and re-uploading. But thank you for taking the time to look at and fix this for me. Much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Scott
