As you can see we had big fun that day.
More snow had fallen in the Netherlands than any other day since 50 years , and we went walking in the dunes and had a great time.

My husband and I lived in Amsterdam from 1997 to 1990 and loved it. But never saw snow nor skating on the canals.

Well, there was no skating this year either; just this wild pack of snow.
Where in Amsterdam were you staying and what did you like best about Amsterdam.
I was born in Amsterdam and lived there for 37 years, but I have since moved to the city of Haarlem, which you may have visited when you were living in Holland.
