I figured that since I have spent so much time in the customization section getting the fantastic help I needed to setup my new smug site.
I post a lot on the Nikon Cafe and thought I would share a few pics, From a quick glance at the posts I do recognize one face. Hey there Tim!
Here are a few basketball shots , most with 2-4 AB800's a D3 and a 70-200 and a 300 2.8 lens

How do you set strobes up in a gym?

(another slippery slope equipment question I am sure!)

Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.

Why do people post their equipment in their sig. Isn't it kind of like bragging? That having been said...

These are great. Where do you get all the light? Checked out your galleries and you where shooting at f4.0 to f5.6 at iso 640. I have the same equipment and there is no way I can shoot at those settings even with my (2) sb900 on full throttle.

I used 4 AB800 stobes two were mounted on 13 ft lightstans each in the corner of the gym in the front court. These were bounced off the ceiling and angled to light the front court.
The other two were clamped to the top of the bleachers at mid court and were bounced and angled to cover the rear court.
    Hope thsi helps

For youth basketball I love it on the D3 as long as you have some space behind you on the baseline. In a real small gym, or older kids I go with the 70-200VR
