Hey all,

Looking for a decent rotating monitor, want to stay at a 1920x1200 min resolution.
Found one from HP and one from samsung that seem decent enough.

Anyone using one, or seen a review of other choices out there I can look over?
Looking to stay in the 300-400 range, maybe 500 tops.

Thanks,
Duane

I'm looking for the same thing... But also better or equal to an Apple Cinema Display.

It's a little more than you want to spend but the HP LP2475 W at Amazon.com is $620 and very good value. An IPS panel and it offers the 90 degree rotation.

I am going to pick one up this weekend.

    Duane,

(do I know you from Online Photographers?)

The following is a 22 inch 1680x1050 native resolution monitor but it is in your budget range and it does rotate and it does seem to have an IPS panel. For a rotating monitor you really do want an IPS panel in the monitor as it has the best viewing angle performance of all the various types - IPS, PVA, MVA, TN.

    Initial reports are very positive.

I came across this "Open Box" LP2475 on Ebay from a Power Seller for $420 + shipping.

Very tempted myself but wife insists if I am spending hundreds of dollars I need to get the Amazon one rolleyes1.gif

Well I ordered the 2475 from Amazon.com as I have heard reports of a few of them having issues. Amazon has a terrific returns policy which was worth paying a little more for.

I'll post a review when I get it up and running.

    edit:

    Got mine today...!!!
Great monitor, the 1080 HD videos from my new 5d look awesome.
The settings are a little high out of the box for my taste, brightness & contrast were set pretty hi.
After pulling them down a bit it looks great, very happy with the purchase so far.

I think Im going to pull the trigger on the 2475 too.
Read a good deal of nice things about it, here is a VERY in-depth review.

    My LP2475W arrived this evening.

I got the same thing with brightness (very high) but everything else was pretty close.

I have commented elsewhere about this monitor so I will just say: BUY ONE!
