Of these 2, I prefer #1. The background in #2 appears too fakey. The transition between ground and background is a bit distracting. IMHO, seamless black or white would look nice.

#2. But the watermark is pretty distracting.

    Hello!

    Here's my thoughts:
    • Both could do without the third stone on the right. It doesn't add anything other then distraction.
    • There's too much light coming from the back. Because of this there's no real detail in the little diamond (?) thingies surrounding the main stone.
    • My first reaction was to try to read the watermark. And after I figured out what it said, my eyes still kept coming back to it all the time.
    • A seamless black background would probably set out the jewels best.
    cheers!

I agree with getting rid of the third jewel. I like number 1 best. Not a big fan of the vignette in 2.

-- Agree on getting rid of the 3rd jewel.

-- I would recommend getting some sort of lighting to create a sparkle in the blue jewel. It looks too dull.

-- Simplify! How about a solid-color seamless background?

+ 1 for #1. I don't like the vignette at all. Takes away from the main subject. Maybe an unsharp mask might give some sparkle? 75% 2/3

I do think the watermark is distracting, so I have started using another one from now on. It will be LENS Photography and the site url on the bottom right corner of the picture, that's it.

I do agree with the 3rd stone, but don't know.. i really love the 2nd one and it gives more beauty to the blue one.

I do respect all your opinions and it's very nice to have people criticizing your work..

    Love ya all,

The blue one is a cut stone? I think it needs to be lighter and sharpened to show it off at it's best. IMHO
