Link to Slideshow while "Easy Sharing" is disabled? Possible?

I'd like to be able to email a link directly to a slideshow, but have the "share" button disabled. Is that possible?

I tried enabling sharing, getting the link, then disabling sharing. That doesn't work - it starts a slideshow with only one picture (the picture I was viewing when I clicked the briefly enabled share button).

If you put this CSS in your site-wide-customization and enable Easy Sharing on your galleries, the Share button will only show for you when you are logged in and you can use it to your heart's content, but your viewers will not see it.

.notLoggedIn #shareButton {display:none;}
