What do think, mainly about the right eye.
I'm thinking I should black it out, or reshoot and try to get a little more light on it.

I absolutely love the right eye. That's instantly what my eyes went to and stayed on for a second. It's fabulous. I think too much light on it would ruin it and blacking it out would take away from the photo. Phenomenal work!

a reflective board opposite of the main light would probably give just enough light to the eye on the dark side.

I agree with JAG. Just a bit more light on the right eye and you're there. Definitely don't black it out.
