D700 and D300 DX versus FX lens Comparison

Okay...probably the six worse photos you've ever seen...but Its late, I want to get to bed and I am...ummm...almost fatigued with reading about DX lenses on FX cam, especially the D700.

So Heres What we got:

D700 with a FX lens the 35-70mm f2.8 @35mm

    When you use DX mode on a D700, does it actually take the full-size image? I thought it crops it for you. Perhaps the cropped-in-camera result would be more valuable?

    Oh, I did say it was late...I had taken this yesterday early Morning in the same room in my normal setting or Crop mode...Yes, more usable..More valuable, I guess so...You be the judge.

    Not at all bad! Not much for resolution but looks fine at this size. Not ideal, but I appreciate having the choice.
