Creating duplicate galleries with different preferences

I've tried. I've searched. I've dug through the tools, help and FAQ several times. I've experimented. I can't seem to find a way to do what I need to do.

Problem, copying galleries. I want to copy one gallery with five subgalleries in it. I want to assign different preferences to the duplicate set of galleries so although each group will be indentical, one will be public and watermarked and the other will be unlisted and password protected but allow anyone with the password to download those images.

Is there any way to accomplish this and if so, would you please be kind enough to help with specific steps to get this done?

Thanks very much.

You have to upload a second copy of the images to a new set of galleries and then set the options the way you want them. Smugmug only supports the copying and then moving to a new gallery of one image at a time.

    Thank you
Thanks for taking the time to respond. That confirms the only thing I've been able to puzzle out, upload duplicates. That really time intensive and seems like a waste of storage space but if that's the only the way, that's it then.

    Thanks again.
