OK, here is my latest attempt. I am still learning from you guys. I tried to shoot tighter last game. I also started sitting on the floor behind the hoop and I got a couple of nice shots.

The fingers on the hands are still blurry. I don't know if I am going to be happy until I get better lighting and I can speed up the shutter and lower the ISO.

Thanks again for all your advice!!

MD

Mark Where was the flash? I would also suggest using 9 pt AF or single point, 51 point can be easily fooled by the arms moving or the defender moving.

    Tim,

The flash was on camera. I don't have any triggers at this time. They are coming soon.

Thanks I have been playing around with the focus settings to find something that works. Every time I shoot I seem to try something else to find the silver bullet solution that is going to make my pictures look like yours... rolleyes1.gif

I will go back to the 9 point and see if that works better now.

    Thanks for the help.
