#18 opinions wanted please

Hi folks, this is my 1st deliberate attempt at High-Key photography, what does everybody think of these?

Which do you prefer and what can I improve on these?

1st up is "Far, Far Away"

and 3rd and finally (at the moment ) is "Alien"

    Well out of all of those I prefer the top. I have to say the bottom one kinda scared me ne_nau.gif:D

    In the top one I find the background distracting where you have the white blotches and there is a highlight along the edge of the hat.

    Of these three I would go with 1 -but I agree the highlight on hat and maybe chin seems to distract. 2 looses chin into neck although I like the eyes & other features maybe bring back a tad of the chin?. 3 is a hard angle- my eye gets stuck looking at where neck and chin meet.
    Please take this with a grain of salt as I had to read & read to get the concept and still don't feel as if I grasp it totally!!!

    #1 and #2 are my favorites.

    What about cropping #1 to just below the lip to eliminate those shadows and pull the viewer's eye up? ne_nau.gif

    Or try cropping #2 to just below the eyes??? I really like how the blue eyes go with the hat and a crop would emphasize that relationship.

    I like #2 in both - my only nit is that because the comp is very symmetrical, the slight leaning to camera right bugs me (the difference in height of the pearl earrings really makes it jump out). Love the blue eyes!

    Yea, after I posted the update I noticed the leaning, I'll go back to the original and straighten it.

    I keep leaning toward "Blue Ice". Those eyes draw you right into the photo. The second edit looks awesome!
