Nice shot with lush colors. The composition is also appealing.

    Hi there Tim
The family and I are hopefully making a return trip to Adelaide this christmas, looks like a photo session at the gardens will be added to my list. Can you tell me if the zoo is still up and running? I havn't been home for 5 years and havnt visited the zoo in......well lets say too many years to count.

    Great shot BTW.
    Cheers

    Hi Tassie,

Yes the Zoo is still well, you are in luck they are upgrading the display for the Orangu Tans and Sumartran Tigers. The display will be an Asian Rainforest setup, due to be finished in November. The Orangu Tans will be able to traverse the tree canopy above the Tigers. They will also have Kamodo Dragons and some other animals as well. The Tigers will have a swimming pool which you will be able to view from below water level. If you go on a Thursday, around 2pm they feed the Hippos pumpkins which is where you can get some good shots.:):

    Regards Tim

Thanks Tim, will make a note that Thursday (and especially around 2pm) is the time to go.
