This is where the Minas Basin and the Chignecto channel meet in the Bay of Fundy.......60' tides twice a day. Awesome in the true sense of the word.

a very pretty perspective of an amazing place - especially since most photos you see are of the odd landscape at low tide, seemingly devoid of any water at all.

    I have those, too.

Just East of Cape Split, tide's about 1/2 the way out.

Yup, those are the ones nod.gif

It's really crazy to watch those tides. Further back on the bay, where you can see from one side to the other, you can't even see the water on the horizon!

That red "mud" is a gorgeous color. Which is a good thing since it really sticks to your boots, even after 7 days and over a thousand miles of riding from the Bay of Fundy!

    Thanks for looking.

We did a photo show in Cambridge after we returned and everybody remarked on how red the mud was. It was really red at dawn and sunset.
