    Somehow, that looks just like how things looked around here in Midland just a few days ago, when we were hit by that ice storm.

    Hi Craig,

    Nice shot here. I don't see near as much bamboo in the wild as I used to. Cutting your own fishing pole out of this stuff was the name of the game when I was growing up.

    Hi Craig,

    Nice shot here. I don't see near as much bamboo in the wild as I used to. Cutting your own fishing pole out of this stuff was the name of the game when I was growing up.

    Nice one Craig. Yup it brings back memories. Always had a bamboo pole, a bit of that green cotton line, a wooden bobber and hook. Didn't need much more to spend a fun summer day down by the pond.

    :D I know what you mean, Wednesday everything was Ice and Frozen, and yesterday and today, it's nice and Sunny and kinda warm.

    I agree, that was one of the first things to hit me when I saw all the different types, then the overwhelming beauty of it really was nice.
