the branches in 3 and 4 were infested with some black disease, maybe aphids or similar..

Yes, and, as said in an earlier post just now, my heart goes out to those who lost 17 loved ones to your record heat this year (read just now in Yahoo News).

Makes me wonder how things are in Alice Springs!
