I had my first shoot with a model. She did runway in Japan, but hasn't had very much experience in front of the camera. This time we stuck to a studio set up, but next time will go outside.

I post a few more later.

Great shot, Caroline - you most certainly have this lighting thing figured out!! thumb.gifthumb I just love the way the shadow on camera left exactly follows the line of her cheekbone and makes her already lovely structure even more elegant. Beautiful!

The WOW factor of this photo is HUGE - those eyes are wicked beautiful.

A couple of nits (and I do mean nits)
A little healing tool for some of the blemishes and a little more light from camera right to help better separate her hair from the background.

    But WOW!!!thumb.gif

    Is it just me?
I like the shot but it appears just a tad soft on my monitor.

I did some skin softening, but the eyes should still be sharp, and her lips look nicely in focus to me as well. The hair that's falling across her collarbone is out of focus, but I like that.

Yes, I agree. Looking at the hair, eyes, lips etc., the photo appears sharp. I think it's the skin softening on the nose/cheeks that is throwing it off for me. Or maybe, just maybe, I need to go clean my glasses...hehehe
