None of them seem strait, and the first one looks best.

    4

Something seems a little off to me though. Contrast? Brightness? I like the photo but something (small) is missing or not grabbing me.

    Just my 2¢

Don't like the overproceesed one @ all (just for my tastes). I like the composition of the very first one. However, thay are all still not quite level.

I like #4 (before over processing). I think the left half of the stone bulkhead curving away from us makes it look unlevel. If you look at any vertical elements of the large house (porch columns etc.) they seem perfectly vertical. I do think it lacks a bit of "pop" tho was it snowing? You might try either a bit of hpf or maybe usm with amount 10 - 15 and radius 150 - 200 play with the sliders in these ranges and see if it improves. If it was snowing hard, these may be the best possible under the conditions.

These were shot in a total white out snow storm. In the unprocessed image you can not even see the house.

Great winter scene ! Looks like a painting.

photo 1-the MG is to busy with to many houses

photo 2-the main house is to much in the center of the frame

photo 4-the birds are close to being cut off in the bottom right of the frame

I like photo 3 the best but crop the right of the frame just like photo 4
this will add nice balance to the photo also I find the over pp takes
away from the mood of the photo. Hope this helps.

    Take care,

Sent this off to the printer to get a 12x36 made to see how it looks.

    Thanks for all the comments

You are almost there (comp). I find the right side of the frame still to busy
with the bushes. Crop the right side of the frame off up to the letter "c"
in your name and you got it, this will add nice balance to the photo.

    Take care,

How about this suggestion: Too busy on right. Crop a little more off the left end, maybe up to the birds, or edge of trees. Convert to black and white. The colors look over saturated or something. Don't use sharpening in the fog.
I really like this photo but it is a little off balance.
