this was a practice to try at a wedding. Dawson (my son who shoots with me) found this pose. I like it better than the traditional hands on the flowers. Maybe a little over-photoshoped as I see it here.

You must have good equipment - those photos are great!

Just had to say that in response to you getting the new 24-105:lol4 - we all know it's all about the brain using the equipment.

I'm really liking #2, #5, and #8 - these are the pick of the litter for me.

Josh.....my how you are improving!.....the only suggestion is color balance unless you are specifically going for the yellow look (which is ok here and there dependent on the processing). Keep going....nice shooting.

What a sweet family! These seem well exposed. The color balance does seem quite yellow, but a bit "better" (not as yellow) in 5, 6, 9. I like the idea in 5, but all the book titles are male names (great Biblical ones!), and the wee one appears to be a girl, so that's a bit confusing to me. If the books are going to be that visible and prominent, it seems they would have more impact if they related to her in some way (maybe they do?), or were a complete mix of all sorts of books so as to not relate in any specific way. I hope that makes sense! Maybe it's just me. ne_nau.gif

The first one seems to have some stray light reflecting on the background in the center.
I love the angle and expressions in 7 and the kiss from dad in 8! clap.gif

Nice set. Congrats on the new toy. My personal favorite is #2. I do agree with Swartzy and Elaine that many of these have a yellow cast to them (although it has been a little too long since I calibrated my monitor). I really notice in #1.
